EDUCATION IN COMPETENCES. THE CURRENT ORIENTATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL SPANISH SYSTEM

Resumo

The term COMPETENCE has her origins in the world mercantile and recounted always to the labour world and we would have to go back 1992 to find the first references with regard to the educational area. The evolution of the content of this term passes of form parallel to the philosophical changes and especially methodological that are taking produced in the education where it has been evolved from the mere instruction up to the integral formation of the person providing it with skills and sufficient skills to solve the situations that appear him at the personal level, professionally and socially. The Educational Spanish System assumes this challenge and establishes the BASIC COMPETENCES that will have to have developed in the pupils after his pass along the same one, contributing this to an inexorable change in the aspects curriculares, methodological and evaluation. Both are the fundamental aspects that are approached in the present article.
